I've tried so many eyeliners out there. They all smudge and leak. Are there any smudge proof eyeliners that will stay in place without me worrying about having racoon eyes?

I can't wear any eyeliner cause I have problems getting it on and not looking like I have black eyes, the best thing for me do is I have a really thin eyeliner brush, Got mine at Avon! And what I do is, I wet the brush and dip it in black eye shadow and just kind of dot it along my upper and lower lash lines and just make a thin line across, for me it is the easist way and it lasts all day, I have had mine on since like 3 something today and it is 12am and it still looks just like it did when I got ready, Hope this helps!

Well, liquid liners don't usually smudge, but they do get crusty and peel off after a while. It depends on the kind you get, I suppose. I've only tried two different Maybelline ones... one is a gray bottle that comes with a tiny brush applicator, and the other is a small black bottle with a hard, pointy applicator. The one in the gray bottle tends to crust over and peels at the end of the day... which is really gross... but at least it doesn't smudge.
The black bottle one doesn't crust over or smudge. So I guess that's probably the better one.

Give liquid liners a try... you might like them.

Pump Up Semi Permanent Eyeliner and Lipliner. It's a pen. Stays where it's put, simple to apply and doesn't smudge AT ALL. Comes off with face cleanser. Couldn't ask for more. Not too expensive either.

Wow sounds great! I'd really like to try that one out. Does it look like how liquid liner comes out when you use the pen?

I was also going to suggest a liquid liner since those usually stay on pretty long. I have also tried Maybelline and mine didn't crust off, but it tended to come off on the innner corners a little bit, but the rest stayed on. I think this was from me touching my eyes! I use Kohl pencils usually but I have to use a shimmery loose eyeshadow with mica in it and it helps it stay on better and not smudge. On the bottom I put the liner on my inner rims to prevent smudging under the lashes. It really helps a lot! The Kohl pencils smudge easier than most kinds so you have to be very careful.. I just like them since they are so soft!

The eyeshadow trick works pretty well.. you can even put it on with a brush OVER your liner, but I haven't got this to work for the bottom of my eyes. Anytime I get eyeshdadow near there, it just makes a mess!

The eyeshadow as an eyeliner thing works great. Try wetting the brush first. It seems to last longer and it helps go on smooth on the bottom lashes. it has to be a really thin stiff brush. i got a mac one. I think it's nupmber 266. Perfect.

Yes, it comes out like any liquid eyeliner, but you have much, much more control. If you want a softer look, you just stipple dot the pen across the lashline, that gives you a very natural look. You can also create little lines that look like hairs, if you've over plucked an eyebrow. All the pluses of permanent makeup without the permanence. I was considering permanent makeup before I found this, but I won't do it now because I don't need to

Yes, I used to do that all the time in the 80's. I wore ALOT of makeup. And alot of black eyeliner. I still wear my liner like that occasionally, but my eyes tend to water alot. (I call them my leaky eyes) So the makeup doesn't stay put very long when I wear it on the inner part of my lid when I'm going out for the evening. Do you wear it on the inner part alone? Or under the lashes too?

I used to always wear my bottom eyeliner under the lashes, but I would ALWAYS end up with smudged eyeliner, and not in a good way! Then I started using it on the rinner rims ONLY and it worked great. My eyes also get watery, especially in the mornings for some reason, but it still stays on pretty well and it's so quick and easy to reapply to this area. Just make sure you use a CLEAN eyeliner and you aren't supposed to share with others.

I think you need to find a new "Make-Up Advisor"...haha! I know many people that do this and even in white to make your eyes look bigger. It doesn't look good on me though and plus it doesn't stay on me.

Fairly recent discovery for me...Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner.

This does not move once it's on! It's deceiving because the pencil is really soft and goes on super-smooth. I actually take a medium stiffness brush and soften/smudge the liner after it's on.

I highly recommend this.

PS: Regarding the "No one does that" comment...I TOTALLY do that. I've had some of my hottest makeup looks with that technique. Phooey to that.

The ONLY ONLY eyeliner you should use is Styli-Style Line and Seal!! Once you put them on, they don't move-I have gone on water rides, been out sweating in heat and humidity and my eyeliner never moves! They are cheap too-like $5.00. I swear by them and buy them by the bunch because they sell out so quickly and I panic if I run out-LOL!

For lining the inner rim Urban Decay 24/7 works very well-I bought it and was surprised at how smooth it goes on and it does last although I only do the inner rims when I go clubbing.

Marcelle is a good brand. I don't know if it is sold in the States. But it does not smudge, even after a workout at the gym. It lasts all day. One I would not recomend is Rimmel. Makes me look like a raccoon. The pencil is too soft.

Avon and revlon make the BEST eyeliners out there.
I used to wear them out dancing all night.
Also try aplying liqiud over pencil for heavy duty the heat or anthing else for that matter won't get to it.:)
