I have a gross question? But,I know this is porbaly the board to ask gross qusetions, though!!Anyways, my bowl habits have changed within the last three weeks. It all started with my monthly cycle.I always get diarrhea, and it always goes away. But, this time I have had really thin orange stools. And its been like this for three weeks ,now.I don't understand why they are thin and orange?I also have had a pain in my lower right side, below my rib cage that radiates to my back.I have'nt had the pain for 3 days now.My GYN that I saw last week, asked if I still had my appendix?I do. Could I be haveing flare ups with my appendix?Any answers would be much appreciated?

Sounds more like a gallbladder problem. Do some searches on that and see if it fits.

when I went into the ER with sever pain in the lower right side of my abdomen.I thought I had a hernia . the doctor thought it was my appendix.and after about four days of tests it ended up being Chron's disease. at this point dont rule out anything.but don't freak out either just follow up with your doctor.

Have your doctors scheduled any tests or done any to try to find out what's wrong?

Appendix don't flare -- they get infected and you will know it -- because it is severe pain and don't go away like diverticulitis does with antibiotics.

The pain below your right side rib cage sounds like gallbladder particularly if it radiates to your back.

I agree -- you need to have some tests runs to find out what is going on with your digestive system??

I wish you well ~~~Harry

just an old nursing school fact I'm trying to recall...but I agree with the gallbladder issue. As i recall, the glallbladder secretes bile...bile is what causes our stool to be brown/green in color. A change in color of your bowels for such a long period of time, leads me to believe that it's more than something you ate...
