Hi all,\
It's been a while since I posted last. I've had 3 sessions of pt, and I do see an improvement. I can hobble around without even a cane, but if I go out I still use one. My pt said that I need to walk on the complete bottom of the foot, but after all the surgeries, i can't feel part of my foot. I'm trying to make an effort to walk on the bottom and not just on the arch side of the foot. I also adopted a new doxi yesterday from a rescue group, and now that I'm back up to 3 I'm actually feeling better about getting better. I didn't realize how hard I took the passing of my little doxi. The horses are doing great, and I'm going out every morning to feed them and let them out. (still being careful tho.).. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here, just moving aboutmore...

Hey Mary!!! Congrats! Doesn't it feel great to move around?! The only downside to actually getting passed this is we all have less time for this bored, but I think we all understand. Anyway, how exciting that you are 'hobbling' without a cane! I am glad that you are taking your time, recovery is slow and you deserve the best recovery. I hope everything continues to go smoothly for you. Oh yes, and best of luck with your new doggie! Losing one is so hard. I had a Jack Russell (Chance) who got away from the house, hit by a car and died exactly one year before my surgery (which is the day before my birthday). It was the hardest hit for me and my boyfriend, we keep pictures of him around and even have his ashes. By August we were out getting another. New dogs can never replace the ones that passed but the joy of bringing a new member of the family into your life aids in the healing process I think. Now we have Michigan (Michi for short) to keep us on our toes, and at my last Dr. appt. I was finally given the go ahead to start walking him again!!! :)

Best of Luck with everything!
