Just exactly where will they be doing the block,in your lumbar or right at the foot level?there are sooo many different types of blocks that can be done its kind of hard to say if anyone is better than the other or even close.any good or bad results from any sort of block just has so many variables.i have probably at one time or another had just about every imaginable type of freakin block,somewhere on my body.it gets old fast.some have actually worked for a specific amount of time and some were just plain not worth even having in the first place.its just a very highly individual thing as far as whether or not they will work for anyone.sorry i couldn't be more helpful.but good luck,i hope it works for you.marcia
