I had three days without any reflux or burning in chest or stomach before it came back. I haven't taken anything for reflux in about 17 days. I normally go to the bathroom everyday like clockwork but yesterday my stomach went bad and now I have burning in my chest.

Here is what I have been doing and what I think is causing the reflux.
For the past week I have been eating vegetables, fruit, fish among other things (rice, chicken etc.). I have avoided completely any bread, junk food of any kind, anything that may cause a problem. My heartburn and even my sore throat went away for 3 days. Yesterday I went back to my regular diet of eating anything I feel like, today my chest burns.

In my opinion, what is causing my (and many others) is some sort of inflammation response in our stomachs. I am now going to go without any wheat products (bread etc.) for the next 3 days and see what happens. I do not believe it is a gluten problem since I was tested an I am not allergic to gluten but their is a possibility that wheat is causing some sort of inflammatory response in my stomach.
I am still not sure but I am hopeful that I am on the right track.
