my dad had a stroke nine months ago. since then, he has passed out 3 times on different occasions all when HE IS SITTING DOWN (not getting up). He is on high blood pressure pills & aspirin to prevent blood clots. He also takes a medication so that his stomach doesn't hurt (i dont remember the name).

All tests for him are normal ex:brain scan, blood pressure...

What can this be? His doctor doesn't know what this can be.... should he get another? Please help thanks- nma56

Hi,
I definitely would get another doctor, maybe a specialist. It's inexcusable that the doctor says he just doesn't know what it is.

It's not normal to pass out like that. Let us know what happens.

My dad is setting up an appointment to see a nuerologist to see what is going on in his brain and what is causing the pass-out sessions.
