I was placed on a new med (for me) DoivanHCT 160/12.5 mg... the doc started me on a months worth of samples and the bottles did not come with patient info so I looked it up on the internet.

The doc knew that I have liver disease and am on aspirin therapy, yet when I looked up my new meds online (after taking it for a week) I discovered that you should not take it if you have liver disease and it should not be taken with aspirin...:confused:

Can anyone tell me of their experiences on this med and if they have had any troubles taking it with aspirin... the doc said not to stop the aspirin when I called and that he would monitor my liver and that "sometimes you have to weigh the benefits with the dangers".
