I have just taken two packs of my pill (cilest) back to back to avoid period on holiday. Half way through taking second pack, I started bleeding. The first day of bleeding was just spotting, the second day up until now, the bleeding has been very heavy with large clots. Started greyish colour, gradually changed to very dark brown/red. My true period is due today. I have bled for 12 days now. I had to go into hospital 12 years ago with identical symptomd for a laparoscopy, and they were almost certain I'd suffered an early miscarriage. I have had terrible cramping pains too, which I never normally get when menstruating. The pain today is lower back and shoulder pain(!) I have spoken to my Doctor over phone, and he wants me to carry out pregnancy test. He thinks its fairly likely, I'm suffering another early miscarriage. Has anyone had similar experience, who can advise me. Thankyou x
