My pain management Doc. sent me to have a deep tissue neurological massage when I had a new pain that started mid back to mid buttock down to front of thighs...............The massage took over an hour. The muscles were massaged and kneaded, trigger points 'worked out' (ouch!)
Later that night and for THREE DAYS I was in so much pain I had to go to bed!!
I'm better now but am still having this same pain that goes to my thighs and is especially bad right in front where the leg bends............any of you had experience with this? I'm pretty new here and have found so much good advice. Thanks.

I've had sciatica and it always follwed a path to the outer buttocks then down the back of my leg...................but this starts up higher at waist level right in the middle then down the inner buttock to front..I'venever had pain that went to the front......It is real bad right where leg bends but the leg is buzzing, tingling and goes all the way to the foot.

Be careful with massage. I have a few hernaited disc in my neck and I had a deep tissue massage and I was in so much pain that I could not turn or move my neck for a week. the sad part was that I paid good money for this massage and it nearly crippled me. I will never let anyone massage me again it really can flare your pain up and make you worse I was horrifed that a massage could make me feel so badly afterwards...
