I have just received a prescription for this, does anyone use it? What can I expect. I have am not new to diabetes but just new to Byetta.

Just looking for some help.

I was at my Diabetes Class today and they were discussing Byetta for Type 2...it is suppose to be a great med...decreases glucose and decreases appetite. It's injectable...subQ injection, two times a day ...up to one hour before meals. I know some folks on it that have had great results, hope it works for you. Jen
