Hi, I was at Sally Beauty Supply yesterday lollygagging around and I saw this electrolysis instrument you could buy for like $35 by the wax area. Im wondering if this is the same thing as laser hair removal that people are talking about thats so expensive or what it is. Anyone know and if it is any good?

no - electrolysis uses an electrical current. I wouldn't use an at-home machine. Getting a good result depends as much on the skill of the technician as it does on the method. If you want electrolysis or laser hair removal, find an experienced professional!

Exactly. Plus, you have to pull out the hair shaft, the little bulb at the end to really know if you did any good. Most of the time, an amateur doesn't achieve this so you've wasted your time anyway.
