I have had this for about 3 monhts now. In the corner of my big toe by my nail but not in the nail itself I have an infection. I have tried peroxdcide and anticeptic creams and nothing works. I am on immunesupersants for my RA so I knew it would take a long time to heal but this is too long. I see my doctor next week and I will check with him about it. Can any one give me some suggestions on how to get rid of the infection. I don't realy want to take antibiotics then I would have to come off Enbrel for my Rheumatoid Arthritis.

The infection may possibly be due to an ingrown toenail. Ask your doctor to cut away the side of the nail plate. You should be able to keep up what you have been doing if the nail is not digging into the flesh.

You have an ingrown nail on that side. You can try soaking the foot/nail in jacuzzi temperature salty water until the nail plate is soft - usually 5 - 10 minutes. Use a pair of sharp cuticle nippers or clippers to cut away the corner.
I know everyone says to cut the nails straight across, but that is wrong. Cut them straight across, then clip away or file away the sharp corner from underneath where it touches the skin.
After you cut it away, clean it really well with peroxide, rinse and then apply antibacterial ointment if the skin is red, swollen, broken or irritated.

ok when i curl my feet the thing looks purplish and when its normal its kind of heavy red now.
Do i have an infection can i wait 2 more days like this?
and im already putting my feet in the salt and water.
But thing is my left foot the outside corner is not really visible at all but my right foot is.
So how do get to the ingrown corner the right way?

After you have soaked your feet and the nails are soft, you will have to slip the nippers underneath the ingrown portion and clip it away. That, or go to a podiatrist to get it cut away.
