Hello all.

I'm a 15 year old male.

About 5 days ago, I was shouting really loud, and my heart was beating really fast because I was angry, then all of a sudden, it started to beat 3 times in a row, so I was getting 3 heart beats when I should be only getting one sort of thing.

Recently, my heart beats quite fast for no reason, when I'm just sitting down and not excersising.

I'm not fit really, I hardly do any sports...!

I've also been getting pain in the chest area, and sometimes I feel really tight chested.

I'm scared that I'm going to have an heart attack...

Should I go to the doctor?

What you experienced is called PVC - premature ventricular contraction. In stress situations the heart sometimes fires twice or three times in a row and then continues to beat normal again. That's nothing to worry about.
As for the pain - I think it comes from the muscles in between your ribs, a side effect of growing.
To make any comment about your heartrate, I would need an actual count.
You probably know how to take your heart rate ...

The next time you see your doctor, you can tell him about your worries and
he might do some test.

Oh and some sport wouldn't hurt, it's quite important for good health.

Hope that helped !
Carter
