I have the same problem but even with medication my blood pressure is higher in winter. I use a medication that gives me no side effect but not more than 70% BP control in winter :(.
I don't think that you need medication if the life style modifications worked for you. Please read the other threads and see how people managed to get thier blood pressure down. I use Magnesium, Flaxseed and Vitamin C to help lower my blood pressure. I consume as little as 400 mg of Sodium daily, which is very hard to do actually. I exercise 6 days a week and 3 days of them I lift weight (I'm only 24 so no problems).
Good luck,
Michael

Hi, I would get on medication that works for you now. I am 36 and already had a stroke because of my blood pressure. My blood pressure is nearly 200/140 and that's on a good day. I am mildy overweight (180, 5'7) so not that bad but catch it early because you don't want to have a stroke.
