So Iv'e had this problem for about three years now that I've been reluctant to see a doctor about, but it's starting to really get to me. I'm fairly certan started after taking large amounts of benadryl along with over the counter sleeping medications about every other night on a consistant basis for about 2 consecutive years. From that I began to need to urinate more frequently and also began to have a frequent (almost constant) pain in my penis varying in severaty from a numb slight burning to a stabbing burning and doubly so during urination. I would need to urinate almost constantly and need to get up several times before I felt comfortable enough to fall asleep at night due to the extreme discomfort of holding even a couple drops in. I've been trying to get rid of this problem completely which still hasn't gone away and I stoped taking anything to help me sleep over a year ago. I've also been trying to drink much less coffee, drink more water and avoid alcohol along with any non perscription pills asside from multivitamins altogether, which seems to be working and I start to feel better untill I have a bowel movement; meaning I have to forceably expell urine in order have one, I just cant seem to do one wihtout the other, which brings the problem right back around. I have a feeling if not for that I would get better but maybe I'm wrong. So what is this and what, if anything, do I do about it? Is it somthing serious that I should see a urologist over or somthing serious that I could deal with myself? Thanks in advance for any help.
