Hey everyone.
About 5 years ago I kicked heroine with the help of good ol' methadone. I didn't use for very long ( actually got hooked from pills) and ended up being on methadone for almost 2 years. I pretty much decided my own detox plan to get off about 50 ml. Well it was successful ( 10 ml. was a little tough but only felt "icky" for 1 day) and I haven't used since. (Actually I've had awful teeth and back problems and have been prescribed narcotics.... And HAVENT abuse them. yeah for me)
Here enters my boyfriend. We've been together for 2 1/2 years and have a great relationship except.... he likes opiates. He went from taking them on the weekends "for fun" ... and now over the past few months he's just admitting to taking them everyday. And for a past addict.. I have a great "high detector" I can tell if someone's on something... and what they're on. Well.. not with him.
I just can't tell.... I've been doing a search for the difference between methadone and suboxone, I don't think he's into it deep enough to get on a methadone clinic ...but i know nothing about suboxone. Can anyone help?
