This is for my friend.

She's had gallbladder polyps for a number of years. She also has stones. Once in a while, she'll have a flair up, pain and discomfort. Maybe a few times a year but not bad enough to take her to the hospital.

Her doctor wants her to have her gallbladder out. Another doctor told her it's not an issue if she's not having on going problems.

Aren't polyps pre cancerous? Shouldn't she have it taken out even if she isn't having problems like pain or discomfort?
