My dermatologist gave me an RX for a vitamin called Nicomide Tabs. Has anyone had any experience with this vitamin?? Any positive results?
Is there anything over the counter that is similiar?
Thanks in advance!

Nicomide is a form of Vitamin B-3 or Niacin which you can purchase at health food stores. Curious as to why your dentist prescibed/recommend you take this.....

me too. biotin and inositol deficiencies are linked with eczema but never heard of B3 having a direct role in skin disorders.

I've seen some posts about being prescribed this for acne. It's not just plain Niacin though. It also contains zinc and folic acid.
The zinc is an anti-inflammatory and anti-androgen.
