Off and on over the last 2-3 months my butthole (I always get anus and rectum confused) has been hurting after I have a bowel movement. It seems like it starts after having a very large bowel movement.
It's more of an ache and I have seen blood on the toilet paper after some bowel movements. But I do not see blood it my stool.
My wife says that she doesnt not see a hemmerhoid.
I have had pain like this in the same spot in my butt but it seems more frequent over the past 2 months.
I have felt like this occasionally off and on over the past 5-6 years after I would make a large bowel movement and I just wrote it off to an anal fissure.
I have read about anal cancer but the symptoms of anal cancer mirror that of hemmerhoids and anal fissures.
It hurts when I sit but upon standing I get immediate relief.
Any ideas?

Could be internal hemmerhoid instead of external.
Best to see a doctor for proper diagnosis.

Blood associated with bowel movements ALWAYS means check with a doctor. Most likely it's just an internal hemorroids but the consequences of something more serious require a proper diagnosis.
