View Full Version : Remember me?

I have been having horrific fm and costo flares for months. Finally improved and 8 weeks ago my husband suffered another heart attack. a stent blocked up and he had to have emergency by-pass during which he sufferd a small stroke. He is doing well but still has either a 40 or 60 % blockage, surgeon says 40% the cath Dr. says 60%. also a 70 % in a small vessel so this has me up tight. They could not do more surgery because he was in such poor shape when they did the by-pass.

Would you believe that for 7 weeks my pain level was low, not pain free, but are we ever. Last week I was taking a shower reached up to wash my hair and got a knot so bad in my shoulder blade by the end of the day, my entire rib cage, neck, and shoulders hurt so bad with that burning pain, the next morning I awoke with that and also low back pain and the burning down the legs. I am just thankful that my pain level was low and I was able to care for him and the house and do things that he normally does.

I am so glad to see all the newbies here. as soon as my pain decreases I will active again on the boards.

Hugs, Linda.

hi linda,
welcome home kiddo. so sorry to hear about your hubby. give him a special hug from this stroker.
no doubt you will be falling out for a bit. you have required a great deal from your body and now it is time to let her rest.
is your dear man home now? i will dance for you both as i build a fence today. i can do both. not gracefully, but hey, so what! giggle.
hugs, love and another warm welcome home,

welcome back, i just recently started posting on the fibro site again. is so cool to have a home to come to where we are understood and do not have to explain ourselves.
sorry to hear about your husband but i am happy that yall have each other.
hope you are feeling better after that flare that you had.
i had a pretty bad one the other morning while carrying my 5 month old daughter and i could've dropped her. thank goodness i was already sitting on the floor and was able to put her down slowly.

Hi linda welcome back. Just wanted to say I know how hard it is to have a hubby that is sick and to keep it going with the fibrobrats popping in all the time. You hang in there and treat yourself to some TLC once in a while.

hi linda,
i have not seen movinslo in a long time. perhaps she has moved on and is feeling good. we can imagine she is skipping about the globe having a good life, a good time, and health.
i missed you kiddo. not to many of us old kids left on the block.
how are you feeling? how is your dear man? i thought of a name for him. recoveryman! makes me think of a super hero. strong, quick, able.
peace and love,
blue
