My psychiatrist just started me on zoloft (50mg) for anxiety. I have had acid reflux for about 8 months and it was finally starting to improve, but on the second day of the zoloft, the acid feeling in my chest came back with a vengeance. Is there any known connection between taking zoloft and heartburn? Is this a common side effect of the zoloft?: :eek:

According to their website acid reflux is not a side effect but that does not mean much as they usually do not list all side effects. Sorry I could not help
