I went to an endo for what my primary thought would be hypo thyroid only to find out that i am insulin resistant  He said i will put you on glucophage 2 times a day to correct this, it is a diabetic medicine but you are not diabetic......My friend told me that usually lazy people who sit on the couch usually have this and that can't be what I have because I was to active. I said well not if it is obtained by laziness and laughed,,,,anyone knows what this is, any symptoms, and anyother means of correction, please write back :D

Insulin resistance is not caused by laziness and (forgive me for being blunt) anyone who tells you this to your face is an idiot. That said, you could very well be insulin resistant. It is a biochemical problem. You can become less insulin resistant by getting more exercise, but that may only help a small amount. A diet high in fat can also cause insulin resistance (although the lower carb portion of that diet can help lower blood sugars).
In the meantime, take the meds for a test drive and see how you do. Don't be afraid to follow up with the endo and ask lots of questions.
