Hi,

I have been taking cefzil for ear infection and my fibro seems worse than it has ever been. I've had it for 15 yrs. Been taking tylenol like crazy. Way too many. Only half way thru med and I don't think I can do another 5 days. Any body know? Thanks

It could just be a side effect from the antibiotic. Fibro's are very sensitive to meds so this one might be one of yours. I've never had it from antibiotics but I have with just about everything else. Ask your doc. to change the med and see if it helps. Also, only take as much tylenol as your suppose to. The last thing you need is liver problems. I've seen liver transplants because of too much tyenol. PLEASE be careful.

Hi it also could be that you are having a herx...from bacteria die off....the doctor I see treats fibro as a bacteria ....if you want more info read Dr. Charles Stratton....Or Dr. Michael Powell....you can read about these studies on the internet....

Good Luck to you!!

hi ddr,
welcome to the board. i take antibiotics often. i always notice an upswing in my fibro symptoms when on cipro (sp?). septra a sulfa based antibiotic does not seem to bother me. check with your doctor. this may not be the right antibiotic for you.
you will like it here. there are many good kind people willing to listen and let you lean on them.
peace,
bluelakelady
