I used to post here under Summer_Dawn a lot. I used to be bulemic and I am wondering if anyone knows if that can effect a woman's fertility. please let me know...

I'm not sure in what way, and there are a gazillion other people better suited to answer your question, but I do know that it DOES effect fertility. Even if you are healthy now at a good weight and have gotten your periods back, fertility can still be an issue. It all depends on how long you were too thin or malnutritioned as well as how long you went without a period. Malnutrition can cause some organs too die. You should see a fertility specialist or OBGYN to see if you are still capable of having children. Cat |
