after reading a few posts here i realized that it may not be my wisdom tooth at all but the tooth i had a filling done in.it hurts badly when i drink something cold and i can't chew on that side cause it hurts to put pressure on it.it just sucks that it's hurting my ear too.so anyone with filling problems?how long does the pain usually last?does it need replaced or something??i
m gonna ask a pharmacist about pain meds but any info at all about how long the pain persists would be helpful.

If its a recent filling and its been hurting more than 10 days since it was done I would go back to the dentist and let him check it. If its an older filling that just started to hurt - again you need to go to your dentist and have him check it for further decay or infection. You're right to go to your pharmacist and ask what you can take for the pain considering your pregancy (congratulations, BTW). Ask about topical pain killers like ambesol as well.
