I'm 32 and over the years I've been suffering increasingly from digestive problems. At the bare minimum my doc says I have high blood pressure and gerd and possibly have gallstones/gallbladder problems. I've decieded to do all I can to help improve my conditions which on the beverage side of things including giving up Coffee, Soda, Caffeine and Alcohol. Besides water I'm wondering if the board could offer Non-Caffinated healthy drinks that would be safe to consume that won't irritate my acid reflux or raise my blood pressure. I am going to miss my Martini's, Coffee and Coke. Suggestions Please?

The body is made up of about 70% water and all organs function using water. Anything else you drink has to eventually be converted to water by your LIVER.

The liver has an extra burden functioning to remove the stuff you have made a choice to eat and drink.--- The first bad results as you already know is your digestive systems starts having problems including your gallbladder. You will eventually have to have it removed and your digestion will never be the same!!

I think if you want to improve your health and life then become more proactive and start eating and drinking healthier.

You can include Whey to make sure that you get enough protein in your diet. It contains no fats and not many calories. And start eating yogurt to maintain good intestinal bacteria for proper digestion. I believe health begins in the Gastrointestinal tract.

Reduce salt in your diet-- will probably lower blood pressure by lowering your retained fluid in your body.

I wish you well on you Qwest~~~Harry
