i was diagnosed yesterday with copd...chronic oxygen pulmanary disease...ive got a large mass on my rght lung plus ,atlectosis,my lower right lung has collapsed and have a mass on my left lung...things arent looking up for me along with my degenrating discs and bone disease....i could have three months to however long the lord will give me..they want to do needle biopsy to see if tumors are malignant or benign...im really scared...thought i was bullet proof and smokin has finally taken its toll 32 years after smokin....may god have mercy on me...love you guys and will get back to you...imm goin to go cry a bit...bye for now...chef

Chef - I don't know what to say, I am beside myself and crying with you. Makes all of our problems seem so small, thank you for putting mine in perspective. You keep touching our lives.

When is the needle biopsy? You are a good man Chef, you have helped so many of us, remember that.

Fight on Chef we have a big party coming up and got to be there,forget cooking,man really pamper and look after yourself you can go back to cooking anytime,the body itself is the greatest healer just feed it and treat it well,plenty of fresh air and relaxation,read a good inspiring book,always think positive,keep telling yourself how fit and healthy you are and believe it.You can overcome this,your greatest fan,sadmum

Now Chef...you have your good cry...and then pull yourself up. We have been through alot and this ain't nothing!!!! You have the strength of a bull, and that's what it takes to overcome the worst. Now think back....all the heartache we thought we couldn't endure....well we did.....copd is liveable........now you just think positive and give us your thoughts so we can respond to them. We're a good team.......

Remember: A good pulmonologist will get you through this. My prayers are with you...may they give you strength.....Keep your chin up and be strong. Don't let anyone tell you how long you have left!!! That's up to the good Lord and you!!!!!!!:angel:
