I have been getting really really nauseous lately.
Like within the last two weeks I have extreme bouts of nausea that just overwhelm me.
I do not throw up but feel like I could at any minute.
I have been experiencing digestive related problems for 2 years now with no relief in sight.
I go back to my gastro doc this monday. I don't have insurance and I'm going to have to some how come up with his $80 office visit fee.
I have been through every blood test for every digestive related disease and nothing. I have mild colitis found from a endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsies.
I have heartburn but the doctor said no reflux or GERD, whatever it is called.
I have had a gallbladder ultrasound which my gallbladder couldn't be found then I had the first part of the hida scan done with the radioactive dye. Well my gallbladder showed up on the last picture taken an hour after injection of the dye that then my gastro doc said that meant my gallbladder was filling up way to slowly. I didn't have the second part of the hida scan done. The first medicine I was given made me way too sick feeling so I left and didn't go through with the second part. That was done a couple of months ago and when I go see my gastro again monday he is going to be furious with me and want to know why I didn't go through with the whole test.
But I am seriously worried about being nauseous now, a new symptom on top of every thing else.
I already have trouble swallowing sometimes even water. I am scared of throwing up because I have a fear that I am going to get choked and die on my own throw up. I am such a hypochondriac, I know.
But could my nausea be heartburn related? My stomach feels very raw and gritty right around my belly button area, my lower stomach. My stomach almost feels like my intestines go into spasms, my stomach muscles where I have the raw feeling tighten up and my stomach feels very knotted up and tight. It goes away and comes back in waves with the nausea.
What could this be? Why am I getting nauseated now after two years of this? Why the new symptom?
