Ok my dentist took off an old filling tonight and refilled it,that was done poorly yrs backj plus theyre was a bit of a cavity under it so it all had to be removed. When she did it though she told me a tiny bit almost nothing of decay had to be left in because it was touching the pulp in my tooth and she didnt want to dig that too much. she said it was a minor amount and then i said well wont that grow and again i have to come back and get it drilled again?!?!? she said not at all that she had put a covering over the decay they wouldnt make it spreadble...she said that because its near the pulp the pulp will act proteective too and almost absorb the decay plus she said theres no other tooth around it now asince its been seeled off. im a bit nervous about this as this tooth has been done so many times in the past by other dentists!! so has anyone heard of this? she seemed pretty sure of her self.
