I have two moles on my back in bad areas both of them get irritated easily by my bra. One has been cut and almost sliced from brushing my hair the other the bra strap cuts it. They are a constant bother. I dont have any insurance I am young and on my own. Do you think my doctor could help me to figure some way to get rid of them? I would remove them myself but since they are fairly large and have been through alot I am afraid to remove them myself. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Hi,
Yes, definitely go to the doctors. I have heard they have a procedure to remove moles. Don't even think of trying to remove them yourself however tempting! Best wishes,
M.B.

LiveLove,
Yes! Go to your dermatologist. I don't know how expensive it is without insurance but, it is worth it anyway. Never try to remove one yourself. You could get an infection and, then it would be worse than it was when it was just a mole. Plus, if you don't get to the root, it could just grow back anyway.
Most times when a mole is removed, it is sent to a lab and tested to make sure that it is negative for any skin diseases. Without insurance, I don't know what they will do. But, discuss all of that with your doctor. I am sure they will be happy to tell you all you need to know.

Without a doubt, go to the dr.
Last December I had the same problem, had a mole on my back that kept getting irritated from my bra. As the dermotologist was removing it she noticed a very odd mole on my ear.
The mole on my back turned out to be nothing, but the one on the ear turned out to be Malignant melanoma, so had I not gone who knows what would have happened!
