Thank you for thinking of me! I am very excited to go see him--it can't come soon enough. I've been having some more symptoms that are kind of scaring me--so I went to my doctor yesterday and she did some blood work, so we'll see. I'm radiating a lot of heat--like I feel like my skin is burning, but I don't have a fever--she had no idea what it is. Also, my hands are getting shaky--especially when I try to write--my handwriting is a mess :confused:
I had an iron panel done---a few months ago I had it done, and my iron and TIBC were on the higher end, and my Ferritin was a little higher than the range, then she did an CBC and metabolic panel and thyroid as well. Just feeling very poopy lately.
And I also wonder--whenever I look up anything on the internet, like "high ferritin"--it comes back with cancer. Almost always when I put in any symptom--cancer is always staring back at me--I don't get it--I would hope if I had cancer they would have found it by now--I hope!
My low back and legs have been unbearable lately too--it's just a deep ache in both of my legs--did you ever have that?
Oh yeah, one more thing---did they send you anything in the mail before your first visit with Dr. Powell? Or do you just fill everything out when you get there. I haven't received anything and I forgot to ask yesterday when I called them. How long was your first appt.?
I sure hope he can help me....:)

:wave: Sorry your feeling lousy...BUT...I truly believe this time next year you are going to be feeling on top of the world...Glad your going ...Think they schedule you in for an hour...if you feel more comfortable maybe call them Monday and ask if they could send you the paper work to fill out ahead of time...man I hate paper work...yuck!!!


YES I HAD THE SHAKES...REALLY BAD!!!! And the face twitches and muscle spasms....but they are gone now...also had the problems with the arms and legs that you do...they'll get better too once you start treatment...I just feel it in my heart that you will...:)

I still have the HOT SKIN PROBLEM....I have done that since I guess I was a teenager...so makes me wonder how long I have had the Chylmdia Pneumoinia bacteria....then add lyme to it...geezzzz....My sweetie still hates to lay in bed sometimes and cuddle...I just raidate heat....and like you said...no fever to it...and I'll start sweating...yep it is weird....just try to hang in there until Dr. Powell gets to test you for your tyhroid...and other hormones...

Lyme and the C.P. bacteria sound sooooooo much alike...that it just blows me away....if you didn't know which board you were on Lyme or Fibro...one wouldn't know the difference...kind of scary.....

With the test try not to stress about them right now...I know over all the years I have dealt with things...I became so scared over them too...but when I look at them now...it is kind of like...on time the test will show this level of white blood counts...and then the next time something else...or thyroid high or thyroid low...or red cells big or red cells small...and I wonder is it the labs? Our bodies? Or doctors that have no idea what the heck they're doing.......Most likely a combination of all of them....

Just try to take it easy...I kind of doubt you have cancer...I mean lets rule out other things first...I justwant you to remember that...you are going to a SPECLIALIST...someone that is totally invovled in treating this...from head to toe...I'm sure you'll have test first...then come back to start the treatment ...Iwould think...maybe you could talk to him and see if he would do a phone consultation with you after he gets your results...maybe he could fax the prescriptions to a phyarmacy....just a thought....

Remember to write down allllll of your symptoms for when you fill out your paper work...
I am so exctied for you to go!!!! Like I was saying there is another lady that I know too...she is showing up the same day as you...this will be exciting to watch and hear you both get healthy again....YEAH!!!!!!
