Hello everyone...I am new here. I have not been feeling well since the Summer. I wanted to know if anyone out there could help me. I have a cat scan on Monday and the anxiety is killing me. Has anyone ever beed diagnosed with lyphoma with out having enlarged lyphs in neck? Also here are my blood results can anyone make sence of it? ESR 53 Lyphocytes 5551 wbc 12.2. I am so tired all the time....lost 15 pounds in a couple of months and was diagnosed with pernicious anemia in August (i give my self shots) I dont have night sweats or glands in my neck. Can anyone share thier experience. I have been poked and prodded for months now and I guess I just want to know. Did it take this long for anyone else to be diagnosed? I keep hoping that becasue it is taking long and not so obvious maybe it is not cancer.... Sorry I know I sound like a nut but I am just scared I worry about my husband and I worry about about my 2 little ones. By the way Iam 32.:) :)

thanks

I am not sure about being diagnosed without enlarged lymph nodes. We have sooo many in our body. Your lymphocytes are high. I don't know if the anemia has anything to do with that. Stress could cause the weigh lost.
Just stay focus on your ct scan. And remember if it is Lymphoma and that can be a big IF. There are so many types. It is not a death sentence. Very treatable. I am glad your are having things checked out. Please keep us informed.

Take care

Hi

like Becky says it's a very big IF if it is Lymphoma.

Im also 32, have loads of enery, bit of a gym bunny. I live in the UK and this year I've been on holiday to Singapore, Malaysia and New York (I'm not boasting - I have a point that I'm getting to, I promise!!!!)

Just over a year ago I was having chemo for Lymphoma. I am now in full remission and couldn't be happier!!! Chemo - although not fun - is not as bad as it's made out to be and cure rates are excellent these days!!

I have just had my fist year check up and the consultant basically told me that I was a fraud - the picture of health, kicked me out and told me that he didn't want to see me for 6 months (he's an amazing guy)

I can honestly say I don't have a care in the world!!!!

So IF it does turn out to be Lymphoma, it doesn't have to be the end of the world!!

Hope this makes you feel better!!

Ails xx
