Does that time of the month cause any lumps in the breast that would usually go away after the period? Also, if you find a lump and it is a problem, would usually be in one breast or both?
Thanks!!!!!

Finding lumps in your breasts doesn't necessarily mean cancer, it could be anything. Any kind of lump, I would get it checked out though.

the best time to make the self breast check is a couple of days after your period , since before your period(PMS) you could mistake swelled glands in your boobs for lumps.

Gosh, how do ya know if a lump is serious or not? Should we run to the doctor everytime one is found? What about people with fibrocysic breasts, how can they differenciate the lumps and bumps?

You should go to the doctor just to be on the safe side, and he/she will tell you in detail about what type of lump should you look for.
