Hi all. Need some advice. I am 33 year old female. I have always battled feeling dizzy, heart races, anxious, spacy, moody, panic, when I dont eat. Sometimes I dont even feel hungry but have these symptoms.

I was telling someone about this and I have always just thought I had an anxiety disorder. He said no, he is diabetic and has a home self test and checked my blood a few days for the past week. When I wake up my blood sugar is around 90-98. When I start to feel the symptoms, I will be in the 121-140 range. As soon as I eat, my blood sugar drops back down to the 90-98 range and I feel fine 30 mins or so later. 2 hours after I eat my blood sugar starts to climb again. I have never gone over 140 though.

Can anyone tell me if they know what this is? Because of all the reading I have done online, my blood sugar isnt too low, and it doesnt go higher like someone with diabetes after they eat. My blood sugar does the opposite.

So I am wondering if anyone has heard of this..because I honestly something has to be tied to my blood sugar to make me feel this way.

Thanks!!!

Shannan

Those symptoms you describe are normally asociated with low blood sugar. They can also be caused by a falling blood sugar. Try testing every half hour after a meal containg a lot of carbs and see what happens. Or you could go to a doctor and ask for a glucose tolerance test. :)
