Hey guys before I climb into bed I just wanted to share this, it is especially for those of you with early stage NSCLC. I met a man last night in the ER and we were talking .He had NSCLC and had surgery, a lower lobectomy . He did not have any chemo or radiation just the surgery and here it is 14 years later and he is still alive still cancer free. Over the years I have met others that are 20, 25, even 30 yrs cancer free after having a lobectomy for early stage lung cancer, some like this man had no further treatment and some had treatment.
There is hope when your lung cancer is caught early and surgery is done so never give up hope as survivors are out there cancer free! OK Now I can go to bed as it was a long hard night at work. Have a good day!:jester: JanMarie
