My husband and I are currently trying to get pregnant but I do have constant acid reflux problems. I'm a little worried about if and when I do get pregnant that it will become unbearable once I get big. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, were you able to take anything such as prilosec while pregnant. I hear mixed opinions on that. Thank you.

Hi there..........yes I did have huge issues with acid reflux the last two months I was preggers with my last child 4 years agao. It did not matter what I ate or even if I ate. I still had it and it hurt. I took Zantac 2 tabs twice a day and it helped me. They were going to prescribe me something for it if the over the counter med did not work. You just have to make sure you drink alot of water and stay away from anything that will agrevate it. ALso sleep elevated always...
Hope that helps...the OB's deal with this issue alot. Don't let it prevent you from having a baby. You will be okay!
