I'm 21 and for a few months now i've had eczema on my right hand. It started off pretty tame on my fingers but now has spread to incorporate 3 of my fingers and half of the back of my palm. Are there any tips anybody has on how to relieve it? no moisteriser seems to work and its gets really painful.

thanks.

It sounds like you need a prescription cream to get it under control. When it IS under control try using Aquaphor, or Eucerin to keep it that way. They were both recommended by my derm for the same reason.

I get eczema on my hands every winter...it is painful...my doctor gave me a prescription for predisone cream...i always put on gloves to go out and use hand cream for moisture...is there a pill or something to do so that it does not happen anymore? What are the best over the counter creams to use? Is there a reason why some of us have eczema? Thanks for your help:wave:

pinkprincess3,

There are remedies that can help minimize the recurrence of Eczema like yours which is worse every winter. It has to do a lot with your constitution. You can try if a few doses of Petroleum 30c helps in reducing the occurence. It is a homepathic remedy whihc has proved in such cases.
