Just wanted to see if anyone else is starting a new cycle. I started my 2nd round of follistim shots on Saturday and go in tomorrow to see how things are coming along. I would love to hear if any of you are around the same time frame. My cycle was cancelled last month, so I am a nervous wreck for this next cycle. I am actually remaining very positive, so I guess we'll see if that makes a difference.

Jaime..I'm not with you in your cycle...I'm actually 11dpo but my name is Jaime!!!! And spelled the same way too! You don't see that often! It's awesome that you have been able to remain positive. I'm actually having a hard time of that..especially the past couple of days. This is my 10th cycle and really have my hopes up for a BFP, but not really feeling any symptoms.. I will be thinking of you, please keep me updated. :)

Hello Jaime- I'm not sure exactly where you are in your cycle but I think I might be real close. However, I'm unfamiliar with the shots your on so I don't know what day your on. It'll be nice to have someone to go through the 2ww with.

This is my 2nd attempt at IUI. I'm on cd7. My IUI protocols have been pretty nice and easy. Took u/s on cd2; cd3 I took 25mg of Femara to stim ovaries; I will have another u/s this Friday (cd9) to check for size & # of follies. If everything looks good then I'll take Hcg trigger shot and will have IUI on Sun or Mon. Then of course, the dreaded 2ww.

I am 42 and Dh is 35. We've had 2 mcs (in 4 yrs) and have been ttc for the last yr with no luck. All tests and Nos for both of us are good. Last cylce went smoothly but unsuccessfully. This is our 2nd and last try. We are hoping this one is the charm.

How long do you take injections? Do you have an idea of when your iui will be ? Keep staying positive and relaxed.

I'm fairly close to where you are. I'm midway through IUI #2. Last time used Clomid and this time moved to Follistim. Tomorrow is cd12 and IUI time (triggered last night). I started this cycle convinced that I was just "not going to worry about it" and "whatever happens will happen"......yeah right :) I'm getting more nervous as it gets closer and am not looking forward to the dreaded 2ww again. It about killed me last time. We've been ttc for over a year now and had to take 2 months off due to cyst I developed last cycle (in July, seems like a lifetime ago). I read through all of these threads and see so many couples that have been trying for years and I want to cry for them (but pray to god I don't become one of them). We are not wealthy people (as I'm sure most here aren't) and we're racking up the credit card to go through all of this treatment I really hope this one works. I'm not sure how much longer we can keep this up. Sorry to ramble, just nice to see someone somewhat in the same spot I am in the cycle. Pretty new here, so please bear with me :) The injectibles are so much more expensive, I'm putting a lot of faith in this one (but at the same time trying not to get my hopes up). Can I ask (please don't think I'm being too nosie) what your infertility stems from? My DH has poor morphology so I'm not even sure if ours will work, but that's where our RE wanted to start. How about you?
