I have family history of diabetes but never been diagnosed with it. Is tingly feeling after eating sweets a sign of diabetes? I tested my blood glucose level w/ my parent's device and it was at 96 this morning.

I believe the tingly feeling you get after eating sweets is no more than a sugar rush. 96 is a normal BGL (Blood Glucose Level) reading.

As to diabetes in family history, this make it more likely that you may develop type2 diabetes later in life. Start taking precautions now.

Eat healthier, cut down on sugar and fat and watch your weight. Start or consider adding multivitamins for diabetics to your daily regimen and even some herbal supplements. They can't hurt and could stop the onset of diabetes and allow you to live a long healthy life.
