Anybody,else get this sort of chest pain, WhenI t comes It Is right in the center and sharp, It does not last to long, It is very painful, and very scary, anyone get tis If so what did your doctor say???

Hi Mandy:
I'm sure this pain is scary. First thing we think of is heart trouble. What it could be is costochondritis (sp?). Is the pain in the rib cage and around the sternum? If so, costo might be the cause, and is a pretty common symptom for FM patients.

I am having lots of test, I have been having pain under my ribs for 9 months, I have this pain everyday, Some days I cry its that bad.
THE PAIN IS AT THE FRONT AT THE SIDES GOING ACROSS MY SIDE!!!
THE CHEST PAIN IS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BOOBS!!!
WHATS GOING ON 9 MONTHS, I HAVE HAD IT WITH NOT KNOWING, I AM ALWAYS VERY ANXOIUS... MANDY

I chime in today to make a post about chest pain and found this one. Mine is between my breasts at the top inside of each breast. I have seen that is a spot where there are pressure points for FM pain. Anyway also saw a cardiologist, he did a stress test etc. to be on the safe side. Then diagnosed me with chest wall pain probably from FM. My chest area is very sensitive to touch, has been for over a year, I can rub the area and it very sore! anyone else?
I don't feel any muscle knots but the pain shoots every which way. I hurt all over everyday but still there will be one pain (it changes) that hurt beyond the rest!
