Hi Gem,
I was on mirapex for 9 months and I did not have a good experience with it. I was constantly nauseous and extremely fatigued. Just getting up out of bed in the morning was an ordeal. Not because I was stiff and sore but because I was so nauseous. Usually I can work through being nauseous but with mirapex it was terrible. When I finally was able to get out of bed it took me 2-3 hourse to get ready for the day. I would get out of bed and get my stuff ready for the shower then I would have to sit down and rest. Then I would take my shower, get out and rest again. I had to sit down while drying my hair and doing my make up because my body just felt so weak all the time. I would finally get to work about 2 in the afternoon (I work at my family business) and work until 4:30 or 5 then I would go home and take a nap, wake up and eat a tiny bit of dinner then go back to sleep and start the next day all over again. I'm 22, that is no way to live for someone my age or anyone for that matter.
I personally did not have a good experience with mirapex. But as we all know different things work for different people. I hope goes well for you and please keep us updated.:)
