Hi,

Has anyone here ever had Axial ALIF surgery for L5/S1 problems?

If you have, is it really as amazing as they say (i.e. almost no recovery time needed or post-op pain) and would you recommend it to fellow lower back sufferers as a real solution?

Thanks! :)

I have heard of it and I saw the video online. THey were doing it at the Cleveland Clinic. It is done posteriorly not anteriorly. I have heard that a posterior approach isn't as good as anterior approach though!
