Hello everyone I am new to this board. I have been watching for a few weeks and feel like I can get better support here then anywhere else. So here is a little background info:
Me and my hubby got married September 16,2006(newlyweds :D ) and we are TTC. We have only been at it since September(I stopped my BC end of August). Last month I thought we had it I was late (I am usually regular I even have it down to a time when I get my AF) but was heart broken when I got it the afternoon I got BFN on a HPT. So we are trying this month again. I am trying to hard to not think so hard about it(I was obsessed last month) but it seems like the more I try NOT to think about it the more I am bombarded with babies.
My SIL got PG after like a week of trying and keeps insisting on rubbing it my face(lucky me right) Oh well I am due for AF again so I guess we will see. I just wanted to say hello introduce my self and wish everyone GOOD LUCK.

Welcome to the Board! You are a newbie to TTC like you said so you can bring us some optimism!! You are right, it is a great supportive environment and really useful for any questions you have about the whole frustrating process. I ditto terp and say ~ "lets all move to the pg board SOON"!!! xx

Welcome! I am pretty new too, only been TTC for four months. I am two days late and hoping this is our month. This place has been great so far. So many helpful people to answer your questions, and just a great place to vent. :) Good luck to you and your DH!

Thank you all for your warm wishes..and I hope I don't have to stay on here long..Just long enough for me and a few of my new friends on TTC board to move to the PG board! LOL anyway how long have you all been trying? I am a newbie to this board as well as a newbie for TTC. It is really frustrating, everyone tells me to relax and it will happen but its hard to relax when everyone is on your case about one thing or another right? OH well such is life. Like I said AF is due(on a normal cycle I get it today before 11:30 and she isn't here. But last month I got it on a Friday. so who knows anymore.)but I woke up this morning sick. Kind of runny nose(not stuff) achy(lower back and neck) and just plain ick. I also woke up with a cold sore(haven't had one in a while) My friend said pregnancy can sometimes have symptoms like the flu. My abdomen has also been very very tender, which my dog seems to find amusing and enjoys jumping on every chance she gets. I dunno like I said its so hard to not think about. OOHH I hope!!!!! GOOD LUCK

Katharina84: Like you I just got married in September. Sept 8th to be exact. Hubby and I started ttc right away too. We had no luck the first month. I am trying no to get my hopes up but I have some really interesting symptoms right now and am due for AF tomorrow. I wish you the best of luck with this journey.

Hello, and welcome! This has been a great place to vent, share, and ask. Everyone here is in the same boat, so it is nice to feel like you aren't alone. My DH and I have been TTC for 5 cycles. I say "cycles" b/c I am irregular and have AF anywhere from 21-26 days. So, this month we started BBT and so far, I am still confused as to if I ovulate! LOL. I have a DD, and we were very lucky to have conceived her first try. Of course, we just didn't really care then if we got preg right away. We just assumed it could take a year and let it go. I got big headed this time, and so it is taking long. Sigh. It will happen in due time. I hope. :) Good luck.

Katharine,
Welcome, and good luck. Your cycles will change some after you go off bcp, so you will have to be off of them a few months to know how your cycle is going to be when not on them. When I was on bcp i went every 28 days also, but when I am not on them I go every 26 to 27 day. Some womens cycles get longer you will just have to keep count so you will kind of know when you will O. Just remember to count the first day of AF as day 1.
Baby Dust!!
