Hi my name is Ally I am 28 I have had back problems since i was 20.

Recantly I had a Lumbar Discogram, my second one in three years. I need help this time i am i alot of pain it's been a month and my back and leg pain is getting worse every day. My doc will not see me until next week. has any one had this happen to them. My discogram was positive at L4-L5 with an annular tear.

Please reply:confused: :eek: :mad:

I don't have much advise for you except to ice the area and continue to drink lots of water. I hope you feel better soon. I too had a positive annualar tear at L4L5. Let me know what your doctor gives you as options. Also, are you currently doing anything or taking anything for the pain?

I really don't remember a terrible increase in pain but I was also sick at the same time so that may have disguised my increase in pain.

Yes, you often can't get immediately into the specialists. We have to wait our turn. But if you are hurting that much, you could call and ask to speak with the nurse or the physicians assistant and see if they can increase or change your meds until you can get in there next week.

Ice and heating pads are a good thing. Let us know what happens at the doctors.
