I would like all of your opinions.:) I called my Dr today and told them that I was 9 days late but the test came up neg. and asked if i needed to make an appt to come in. The nurse simply said nope you are not pg. But they still made an appt for Dec 6 for a infertility consult. I am still a little frustrated that she just said nope your not just wait for your period. She didn't ask for any of my symptoms or anything:blob_fire . Is it wrong for me to be frustrated?

Yeah that would have upset me big time!!! How long have you been ttc??
Sometimes I think they aren't very compassionate about this kinda thing.
Maybe you should find a new OB/GYN?
I have probably already told you this, but my friend didn't test positive on an hpt until she was 12 weeks along. She had taken numerous tests before hand and all were BFN.

It's okay for you to be frustrated!! This is a difficult and stressful time for you -- TTC isn't always fun!
That being said, HPTs are extremely accurate. I have been in a similar situation and the doctor flat out said that I would be wasting her time and mine if I came in for a blood test. She specifially said that if my period was more than 30 days late that I should come in to see what was wrong, but otherwise, chill out and wait. I hated that advice, but waited and my period ended up coming about 15 days later than expected...
