I have lower back pain that radiates from right buttock into right anterior/lateral thigh to knee with right inguinal pain also have alot of perianal pressure. Myelogram results are as follows:
1. Mild lower lumbar spondylosis including mild central canal stenosis at L4-L5 secondary to mild disc bulging and ligamentum flavum thickening.
2. Mild disc bulging without central canal stenosis L5-S1.
3. Mild compromise of the traversing left S1 nerve root within the lateral recess at L5-S1 secondary to a hypertrophic facet osterphyte and mild asymmetric disc bulge.
4. Lipoma of the conus medullaris displacing the conus slightly to the left without causing central canal stenosis of cord impingement.
The pain of course is worse when I am standing alot, that of which I do about 9-10 hours 3 days per week due to my profession.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Any questions that I could ask my neurosurgeon are apprecaited as well. Thank you in advance.
