I'm anorexic, and have lost my period for probably about 6-8 months yet. I am eating normal now (3 meals, 2 snacks) and have been for probably 2-3 months but haven't gained that much weight back yet or regained my period. I'm really scared about losing it permentaly. When can I expect it back and any tips?

I lost my period for almost a year when I was anorexic. The doctor told me how dangerous it was, so she put me on birth control. Since then, I have gained weight and get them on my own. Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend. It worked for me.

not sure whether it applies for your situation, but i believe most people start their period when they reach 7 1/2 to 8 stone
