hi everyone.....i'm new here and fairly new to fibromyalgia. i was diagnosed about six months ago, shortly after entering a serious relationship. i've started a plan of meds and supplements, and at the same time have been trying to find a birth control that is right for me. you can imagine this has lead me to be completely frustrated! i can't seem to figure out what med is causing what side effect, etc etc. and i've had a hell of a time with breakthrough bleeding on the pill....making me slightly anemic to add to the fatigue i already have. anyway, i was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has been going through the same thing, or is on birth control that can give me any advice. i'm not sure if i should just go off the BC until i figure out how to get my fibro under control......or if getting my fibro under control will move along quicker if something is "regulating" my hormones. any advice?
