i know this has probably been asked a thousand times...

i have a lot of light brown/pinkish spotting (sorry TMI). I am about to begin second round of injectibles and am supposed to call on cycle day 1 to schedule u/s and bloodwork, etc. then begin injections on day 2.

i seem to remember them telling me that day 1 counts as when you have steady red flow before a certain time of day. I can't remember when it was. Right now it's 1:15pm, so if it turns red by say 4:00, would you count today as day 1?

thanks for any advice.

CD1 is the day you see red blood where you need more than a pantyliner. I have had a CD1 that started at 4.30pm and I still consider that as CD1.

My RE says that it should be "full flow" and before 5pm is day 1, if it is after 5 then you count the next day as day 1. Hope that helps!

My RE also counts day 1 as "full flow", no matter time of day. I think all RE's are a little different though, so you may want to call yours to ask.
