Thanks for all the replies.
I have been taking the Tarceva by the book from the beginning.
Now, in my second attempt I am already taking 150 mg every other day and during the coming week I'll increase it gradually to 100 mg /day.

For the last couple of weeks I have a one-time diarrhea almost every day.
No mouth sores (yet), some acne here and there.
I have very little appetite and all together I've lost 8 lbs. since starting.

I have 2 new lumps – one in my head and one in my neck.
My onc sent me to biopsy. I showed the surgeon a third lump that I have for 20 years in my thigh and he took a biopsy from that one too.
The results came back yesterday. I didn't understand all the medical terms but I couldn't miss sarcoma, melanoma, and spindle cells.
I called my onc and she said that if the Tarceva works it'll work on these ones too.

And the latest is fluid around the heart. So far my heart works okay, but my doc told me what alerting symptoms to look for.
Tomorrow I'll see a cardiologist.

And I don't even feel any symptom of cancer, and 3 months ago I thought that I was in a good shape for my age.........
I've started to compile information for my family, just in case.

Darn!!! I am sorry to hear of your "double trouble". To think you were feeling so healthy 3 months ago and now all of this! You sound like a real fighter and you are in my prayers. PLease keep us posted as to what the Dr. says and how you are doing.
